ever since i was a really little girl, all i remember is her cussing hitting insulting all this bad crap. the hate inside, is like deep in my gut and i can ACTUALLY feel it, boiling ot growing .

im not close to my dad either, he sits on his ass and drinks himself drunk and then --this is practically a routine in my house-- my mom gets mad , he locks himself in his room, my mom opens the door with a screwdriver, keep it locked and lets herself get beat by him bcos she "wants to talk, wants him to understand her feelings, cos she loves him"

me and my brother are cool though. but he has anger problems, really bad anger problems. theres hole in my and his walls cos when he gets mad he gets physical. and he was a druggie but OD`ed and now hes getting help.

Same here. Having a relationship of friendship with my parents are kinda weird. However I do feel guilty that they treat me so well but I treat them like nothing. Which is why I am giving them a Christmas Present that is toooo expensive for me to buy.

I can NEVER treat my parents as best friends. because of you treat your parents as friends that means you don't repect them as the "boss" of your life. In my culture we were brought up to be kind and very respectful to our parents. I can never go on casual with them.

I hate my mom enough to kill her, but I wouldn't kill my dad. I don't hate my dad and some days I almost don't even dislike him.

I wish I had cool parents that I could talk to... but I don't tell my parents anything. If I told them anything, I'd just get in trouble somehow. They know nothing about my life because I know they would NEVER understand and I know that they aren't there for me when I need to talk to someone. When I need to talk to someone, no one is there for me most times.
That's probly why I'm so screwed up

I always used to be so close with my mom & dad, but these 2 last years have been hell. They actually even decided to divorce back in October, so they are currently in the middle of a divorce and it absolutely sucks. Since I'm the only child under 18 [my sister is 18 & my brother is 21], they fight over me because they want me to choose them so neither of them has to pay one another for child support. I feel like were all just this one big tug of war & I just happen to be the rope. All they do is fight over money & who gets what. I truely have seen their 'true colors' ever since this whole divorce thing came into action.

Anyways, to get to the point.. now my mother & I have a distant relationship. My father & I are closer, but I'm trying to keep my distance from both of them. I can't wait til I turn 18 so I don't have to put up with their bullshit anymore.
