Stretch Background; can't edit profile Options

Please help me!

I have my myspace looking somewhat how I want it to in Mozilla, but for some reason my background doesn't stretch in internet explorer to cover the old profile.

Also, I can't seem to get back to the edit profile page in Mozilla. I can see it start to load the original design, but then mine covers it up. I can still edit in IE, but that's only because of the aforementioned problem with the background not stretching across. Once the stretching problem is fixed, how can I edit?

Also, how can I reposition the ad? I want to leave it on the top where it is, but I'd like to manually position it between my "lines" (line it up with my main text div) instead of having it go to the very center of the screen (I use a large screen resolution so the banner ad is way out there for me).

go to safe mode and edit it. it should be two links under 'edit profile' or somesort.

and, for that big space, however you got the white table showing there, you could edit the width and height in pixels instead of percentage.

Thanks, safe mode seems to do the trick!

However, I still don't know what to do about the background. That big white box is not supposed to stretch any more than that. If you look closely you'll notice a small image in the top left corner, that is what's supposed to stretch 100% both ways. It works perfectly on Firefox, but as you can see it doesn't on IE.

I could use a pixel value for the height and width, but I really don't want to do that since everyone uses a different screen resolution and I don't want unneccessary scroll bars.

Also, I know these codes aren't supported, but can somebody point me in the direction of the code to hide the ad? I just want to remove it and then manually put the code back into a new div where I want it (between the two vertical stripes) instead of having it go into the center of the page (looks really weird on my widescreen laptop).

Just to summarize the problems I'm having:

1) Background only fills entire screen on Mozilla. It only takes up a tiny strip on IE as you can see if you go to http://www.myspace.com/jkasper.

2) I need to reposition the banner ad on top. I have absolutely no problem leaving it on the page and I don't want to get rid of it, but I'd like to move it to the left a bit in between the two stripes in my background (only visible in Mozilla at the moment) instead of having it in the middle of the screen.

Createblog doesn't support ad removers, or ad movers!
