So I wrote a song...and recorded it in Pro Tools and I'm not very good at Pro Tools yet cry.gif at least not like my mom. But I wrote all the music and lyrics and sang...

and yes I know my voice is awful, but if you want to hear it you can go here

::CLICKIE::

I hate my voice, but I love the lyrics so yeah. You'll have to turn up your volume because it exported kind of dull.

and yes it sounds even more awful because it's 3 mb mp3 and not the original tracks... tongue.gif

Oh well...just rate on a 1-10 scale and keep everything in mind. LOL I tried.
Edit://No auto-tuning was involved obviously. I detest Avril. I detest Auto-tuning. But i think i needed it...

Mmm...cheesy music. I'm not familiar with pro-tools so, yeah I Dunno. And hey, your voice is still way better than mine! It has potential.

Wow. It's nice. It's a little cheesy and some of the notes you sing are a bit out of tune, but yeah, artificial tuning is a no no. It's awesome how you wrote the lyrics and composed it and everything. Great job!

lol I sound ok live, but I generally sound horrible on record unless it's good equipment. A bit of the tuning is off, and it's not really my type of music, but it's pretty good.

Good start. It's not really that great, but it can improve with practice. I know for a fact that I can't sing like that...

okay u get advice from the person with the experience ahah j/k. For a first recording done by yourself, its really not bad. Vocally, you arent very mature, but you have a little bit of talent there that you could really develop into something good! The background is kinda cheesy, but its a great start. Protools huh? Thats some professional stuff right there. That you even know your way around it is very impressive. I think the arrangement of the vocals is pretty cool. very creative. I say thats a pretty darn good start. And that means a lot coming from me cuz I hate on everyone lol.

Actually---my mom owns a recording studio so I kind of know a lot about the industry and vocals and stuff.

This is my mom... in the 80's

I just have NOT like practiced or used my voice in a while. so it sounded kind of ehhh like jumpy. I hadn't practice control of my dynamics or anything and it sounded bad. I should do another one when I get back into the whole singing thing. I do more filming than singing. I want to delete the drums and get my bro play--i was using them as a beat to stay in time. *shrug* I don't know though. I might just write a diff song.

But thank you!! happy.gif

Thats awesome. Thats what I'm doing with my life. I wanna be famous soooooooo bad. So I have a lot of respect for people who do anything musically. especially when they share, because its scary to put something you created up for scrutiny. I really think u did a good job. I hope I didn't make it sound like you didn't. I really do hear talent in your voice. Maybe you will have to do a song with me or write me a little something huh? :D

I like the lyrics a lot but yes, the background is rather cheesy. The piano is nice though. I really don't care for the ending too much though, it ends a little too suddenly, IMO. Great start and keep working at it!
