omG i belive in it, and it scares the HELL out of me!!! that movie the exorcist of emily rose(the newest 1) thats based on a true story. it scares me sooooo much!!!! cry.gif

^x2 i did that once. and for a second, i almost thought i was real. almost.

as far as exercism... no. i don't believe. if you get possesed you're just stuck, unless the demon chooses to leave. demons in thier human forms aren't afraid of religious symbols or men in uncomfortable clothes... they just get really annoyed at all that holy water being shot at them. it's like water tourture.

when dripped continually in a persistant patter on the forehead of the afflicted person (whilest they're shackled, lest the demon try to attack us), the demon will react to the holy water.

Where do priest recieve some sort of power to turn water into holy water.

I thought priest is just an ordinary priest.

not beliving in excorsims is heritical. the bible speaks of jesus driving the devil out of people. not believing in excorsims is not beliving in jesus or god, and heritical.

Although you might counter me by saying that being agnostic means to belief that it is impossible to tell whether there is a god. My "NO" stands for as a guess/theory/hypothesis.

maybe...but talking about holy water, i have a pretty interesting story.

i was in italy on a class trip a 2 years ago, and we were in the vatican, and my friends and i all just dipped our hands in the holy water, but right after that, there was a spot on my friend's hand that turned bright red..from the water perhaps. we all thought it was pretty funny.

the movie IS based on a true story...because there WAS a girl that was killed because people thought that she was the devil or something. that doesn't mean that she actually was evil.

no, i don't believe in exorcism. i think it's silly.
