JavaScript, Javascript to play song? Options

Hi! Im am sorry if I am Posting this in the wrong forum, but it says javascript and thats what im here for. Anywyz.. I have a question..I saw on xquizits xanag page how she had a button and the link was somthing like "java script:playsong("ladedadeda")" ..anyways..Ive been trying that with one of my layouts for my mp3 format song and it wouldnt work. Im not trying to bite of you xquizit so sorry if I am. Its just a really good idea. Can anybody point me in the right direction for a script to play a song with a button. Please .
Let me repharase. for example, I have a buton and im using image map. for the url im trying to put a javascript code to play a song without a mediaplayer or a embed code. ANY IDEAS?
