carrying a purse is not girly-girl. a purse is useful is many, many ways! I carry a purse at school, and I have needed things in there. I have:
pads (you never know. I haven't had my period yet) money (duh, you need your money for lunch or what-not) deodorant (sp? anyways, yeah, for gym. some school's don't let you leave stuff in the lockers for gym) make up (not really important, but you want to look pretty, don't ya?) extra pencils or pens (you might need it) so you see, it's important to carry it. even though you don't have to. |

No, it's not a girly-girl. Unless it's all sparkly and matches your clothes perfectly. I don't mind about that. But something just normal like a t-shirt and jeans + purse. i think that's perfect.

You know, I used to think it was girly girl type of thing to have. I mean dont get me wrong, i love being a girl (At times, haha.) But during middle school to h.school. Every girl i knew carried a purse, and as for me? I didnt have one yet, because i loved carrying just a wallet. Its simple, and its affordable. Haha, and sophomore year of h.s. i finally got one, because i needed to carry my wallet,keys, cell phone, scraps of paper, chapstick, tissue,& headache medicine. First I hated it because women&girls would be looking at my purse. I was like WHAT?! ITS DAMN PURSE YO! Haha, I guess im okay with it now, but I just feel sometimes intimidated (sp?) even at 17yrs old now. That Im acting like a girl that wants to be just like mommy. Ya know? But Ill live through it.

I hate purses. They are the object of cruelty. (No offense. it's just my opinion) Right now tooo many kiddies carry purses (curse you limmited too!) and I just thought how weird it is cuz they're only carrying them to look popular.

It's not at all, depends on the purse i guess. I carry it out of necessity because of all the stuff I lug around with me everywhere. Actually, half the time it isn't even a purse, it's like a messenger bag or something.

The girls at my school have purses...I don't look good w/ purses and I don't find any that fits my taste... I have to stick to chain wallets because I know lots of pick pockets or...just guys who like reaching into my ass pockets.
Umm...purses are for guys, too?!  Why didn't anyone inform me of this?  Haha, just kidding.....I think.  I can't carry around messenger bags in school because that's stupid, I already have one for school...Like mini backpacks or whatever are alright...I don't know, I'm so tired, I hope all my posts weren't spam.  No, I don't think purses are girly...Ok, just a little bit, but I'd rather see girls carry them around. |

 I don't think it is girly girl, I carry a all black backpack and a cloth brown purse. there are so many different ones you can carry anything to match your mood. Plus I need all my stuff and I don't like things in my pockets I like my pants pockets smooth

i tend to bring my messenger bag around too, b/c my wallet is too thick for my pocket now. in my bag lies my iPod & wallet. but i'm sure that's the lightest of the load... |

I'd rather carry a purse than have my belongings in my pocket, since they can easily fall out. Also, having it in a purse, it's more convenient and organized, IMO. I like purses. :]
As for it being girly-girl, I'd rather not judge someone as being girly-girl just because they carry a purse.
