I agree with the topic, have they ever proclaimed they were emo or something

-if so, discontinue reading, lol-

Well, I like their sound and the majority of Pop Punk, hell, I even like Pop (I <3 the click five)

I like them when they weren't that popular, but now I see them everywhere kinda overplayed. Oh well a lot of people only listen to one song by them Sugar, We're Going Down, instead of listening to the whole cd.

Ahhh yes, I had the exact same reaction when I saw that. Anyway, "Sugar We're Going Down" was okay before it got all popular. =\ I like other songs from them, though, like "Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying" and "Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner".

I'm with you on that. That's one of my favorite songs on the album.

My cousin's been a huge fan since way back. That's how I got into them last summer, 'cause she wouldn't stop listening to them. She's seen them at the Webster countless times. And in the DVD from My Heart Will Always Be the B-Side to My Tongue DVD, you can see her tall friend jumping in the crowd and she's standing right next to him, but she's so short you can't see her. Haha.

WHO CARES?! Honestly, get over something so mundane and trite.

They've come along way, and you know what, I'm proud of them, no matther what tv station they are on, what store sells their merch, or what radio station plays them.

How would you know what other people listen to, or rather, don't listen to?
Just because it's played alot of the radio/etc, does not mean it's the only song people listen to. C'mon now.

Not a fan, but I've seen one of their shows during the summer. They're not bad, in fact, they're pretty good.  happy.gif

I hate it when people automactically brush bands off cause cause they're catagorized a certain genre. How could you possibly know if they suck or not if you haven't even given them a chance?
*

Exactly! I listen to Everything from the Sex Pistols and Ramones to Country music! And I happen to also really like Fall Out Boy. I'll give any music a chance

i like them...though i'm not too fond of sugar, we're going down. i think take this to your grave was their best cd. i hate how a lot of people who used to like them hate them and act like they've never liked them before, just because they've become more popular. i guess it shouldn't matter if a band gets popular, but i don't want them to turn into good charlotte. good charlotte used to be awesome, now their music has changed so much, it seems like they're trying way to hard to be "dark", and they just suck now.

i LOVE Fall Out Boy. I'm absolutely in love with them. The lyrics<33 And yeah, what you said about the songs being catchy...I dont see how anyone could not like them. It does kind of upset me that they're going mainstream now, though. Now EVERYONE "loves" them. I love that blogring on Xanga--"I listened to Fall Out Boy, before they were on MTV"

I'm seeing them this October.

i used to not even be interested in the least bit in any kind of rock.
but them, linkon park, and greenday. opened my mind to a whole nother genre of music. and now i feel so stupid for how closed minded i was. and thats just mainstream, i can imagine hearing underground stuff.
