If it ends with .torrent, you need a program called "BitTorren" (or a similar program) to download it. Google "BitTorrent" for more info.

Torrents are basically chunks of files that you download from a lot of different people, than your torrent program assembles them into one file that you can use.

Most torrent programs are free. Just Google "bittorrent" and you should fine one fairly quickly.

^um...what happens if they cause viruses and stuff?

b/c my sister downloaded some file last night, and she caused that new virus thingy, and my dad had to stay up and clear it yesterday....

and i'm not very sure with searching for programs, b/c i don't want to get yelled at again if there is spy-ware, or a virus.

Torrents are relatively safe from viruses, but the potential exists to get a malicious program anytime you download content from the Internet. You'll have to make the call about the risk, although I can say that torrents usually don't cause a lot of problems, to my knowledge.

I'd go with this:

http://www.bittorrent.com/dl/BitTorrent-4.0.3.exe

(Assuming you are using Windows.)

Well, download the file in the link now; BitTorrent should be able to handle it.

QUOTE
Window cannot find 'C:\Documents and Settings\Kim\My Documents\My Recieved Files\hearts_of_fencing_vcd_rmvb_canto.torrent'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.  To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.

Don't triple post.
Okay. You need to download that torrent file in AF.
Then open it and go to next or whatever and it should be downloading.
However torrent files could take long if there isn't anyone to seed you.
