i need some help. i really need hte background on this image erased
image here i have photoshop cs 2 & when i go to erase the backfround it earased more than just the 1 pixel i clicked on. it erases part of all the pixels areound the 1 i clikced on. can someone tell me how to fix this or earase the backfround ont hsif or me? thnx |

select the parts you want to delete and then press delete

o.O You can actually do that on paint.
Open paint up, zoom in, select the pencil tool, select the color as white (or whatever color the background you want it to be) and color each pixel as white. It's like erasing. x] |

umm... no that wouldnt be. i want the background gone, not white. it's already white. i want the background to be transparent.

Copy your image and open a new document, make sure you select transparent. Then paste your image onto the document. You can use the eraser to erase the parts. I recommend using a pencil as the eraser instead of a brush. I use photoshop 7, so I am not sure where all the options and stuff are on there. Or you could use the marquee tool and delete places like icy_wonderland said.
