My first job was as a cashier at a local hardware store. I hardly even had to interview. I gave the manager my application. He looked at my references, and saw that I had written down a guitar teacher--the same one he had had growing up, in fact. He asked me a bit about how long I had played the guitar, and pretty much hired me on the spot.

I washed pots and pans in a hospital kitchen. My first week on the job was horrible! I had to push a big ass cart with trays of food in it to the upper floors. When I was trying to get the thing in the elevator, I smashed it into the wall and knocked the damn thing over. mad.gif

Hmm, my first job was at a stationary store, doing office work and stuff. I didn't really have an interview; I handed in my application and the boss called me the next day. He saw that I went to this really good high school, and thought I was pretty smart so hired me on the spot.

My first job, was working at a bootsie ass waterpark thats near my house last summer. It sucked, I was new so I was a runner. The job interview was easy because it was a group interview. It wasnt like a normal one though, because they hired everyone that applied (basically). I would never apply to another place like that again. We had to wear khakis, white polos and hats. I really need a job now though. My advice to you would be make sure you work at somewhere you like. Dont do it just for the money.
