Wow, you sound exactly like me. I've never intended to label myself, but people always ask me if I'm goth or depressed or emo and I sure get a lot of shit at school. People either make fun of me or are scared of me. It's like people are mocking us when they wear women's jeans and AC/DC shirts and call themselves emo or depressed. Attention whores...

I think emo is just mainly music but people can do whatever they want so if they feel like they can take the whole "emo" thing into a lifestyle then why not? It's up to them to do what they want with it. It just shows that the music they listen to just really influences them into what they think is right for them at the moment.
