It's good, but the <style> coding should go in the <head> of the document.

You should have a <head> section. That's where the <style> tags go, as well as <title> and any other meta information your page might require.

go through your codeing and add this and move all your codes into the designated spot.
CODE
<html>
<head>
<title>NAMEOFSITEHERE</title>
STYLESHEET CODES HERE
</head>
<body>
ANYOTHERCODESHERE
</body>
</html>

add all your codes but your stylesheet inbetween the <body>and</body> and the stylesheet inbetween <head> and </head>. The sites ok the whole design wize seems like you could of took some more time on it though. I think your supposed to link freewebs so if i wre you i would do that soon.

You spelled most of your links incorrectly, they're not styled, I can't even see that text, it's so small. Your color scheme isn't that easy on the eyes, and the first two times I tried to view the page, nothing came up. You really should learn HTML before procceding any further. The layout is cute, I'll admit that though.

I am not sure what you means by "first DIV layout". Is it the first time you have ever used a div for the text?? Because ussually a DIV layout means you used DIVS to replace TABLES for laying out the images and your background image is one big image. <hah I am rambling

Its a nice little skull I guess...

No it doesn't. Div layout simply means a layout using divs. You can be using the divs to move images, text, content, links... Whatever. Some people who use divs combine tables and divs.... Just from what I've seen. =S It's usually only when they absolutely need to and/or it's a two column layout that they slice the images.

It's a minor point, but a true "DIV layout" would be a layout that has dispensed with the use of tables for layout (since such a use of <TABLE> is deprecated, after all), and has built a site entirely using DIV's.

The best way to use background music on a webpage is not at all. Background music is really annoying.

^Don't get mad. You should have never showcased it if you didn't want critisism. So I suggest you don't post a topic showcasing a website or anything if you can't take critisism.
In my opinion it is rather boring.

...I really dont mean to spam..but why is this still up? I think the general census, god I can't spell, of everyone would be that he needs to learn a bit more HTML, and then decide to showcase.

I still haven't even thought of showcasing mine cause..it's a bit dull. But blah.
