when I put in my layout, there's always a horizontal scrollbar at the bottom. I don't know how to take it out... no matter what I tried to change in my code, it didn't work... can someone help me out?

Well....to get rid of scrollbars alltogether use this code:
all i did was change : "overflow: auto;" to "overflow: visible;". if that doesn't help you, later I will try to just take out the horizontal scrollbar.. |

^ Smaller. You make the blog smaller so it doesn't overflow. Or you make the div layer larger so it doesn't overflow... Make sure to change the size of the date bar too.

CODE .caption, .blogheader {{display: none} I'm curious as to why you have styles for it if it's not going to show. Oh, and you need to delete the extra { before display... And... You still need to edit the width, even if it's not going to show.

EDIT: okay, so I changed my layout and used that layout tutorial thing so it's all refreshed and everything. of course, i'm not done with the info yet but the blog... it still has the scrollbar!! >=( |

It's because your using the AdMover/Remover, which screws up your xanga + adds an ad into your blog area. So take it out.

Then I suggest you just widen the div layer, because that's the only way you're gonna be able to fix it.

Increase the width part until the horizontal scroll isn't there.
