Yah if U remember last time I made a layout and the blog was not in the right position, so you guys helped me fix the script and everything was in place as expected. With that layout, the blog was on the right of the picture, so the part of script for the blog was this:
QUOTE <div style="overflow: auto; width: 328px; height: 450px; margin-top: -500px; margin-left: 350px;"> This time I made this new layout, using the EXACT SAME script except changing the Hex codes and Image link, but because the blog of this layout is on the left of the picture, so after fixing and all that I got this for the new blog positioning: QUOTE <div style="overflow: auto; width: 358px; height: 470px; margin-top: -513px; margin-left: -265px;"> You see, now the margin-left has changed to a negative comparing to the one above, but the blog is in the right place. However, I applied this code and noticed that whenver the window is resized to have the width less than the width of the layout, the blod would also move (to right or left based on how I resize the window). This didnot happen to the first layout, and changing the number to positive will make the blog go in the middle (doesnt matter which number, I tried!). So I have no idea how to fix this, that is to keep the blog in the right place no matter how much the window is resized... Um if u still dun get what I mean, come to my xanga, use the mouse and resize the window, then u ll see... Help me plz! This is the whole thing: QUOTE <!-- begin code provided by createblog.com --> <!-- begin code provided by createblog.com --> <style type='text/css'> /* Eminem by SaIgOnEsE */ /* www.xanga.com/saigonese */ /* please do not remove the credit */ </style> <IMG SRC='http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/1575/kingoffightersskin32wn.jpg' border=0 width=700 height=600 USEMAP='#KoF3'> <MAP NAME='KoF3'> <AREA SHAPE=rect COORDS='34,35,118,56' HREF='http://www.xanga.com/profile.aspx?user=saigonese' ALT='Profile'> <AREA SHAPE=rect COORDS='128,33,212,56' HREF='http://xanga.com/private/home.aspx' ALT='Private'> <AREA SHAPE=rect COORDS='220,32,279,56' HREF='http://www.xanga.com/claf' ALT='Claf'> <AREA SHAPE=rect COORDS='288,34,399,56' HREF='http://www.xanga.com/Private/SubscribeTo.aspx?user=saigonese' ALT='Subscribe'> <AREA SHAPE=rect COORDS='276,573,400,593' HREF='http://www.xanga.com/saigonese' ALT='Skin by Saigonese'> </MAP> <div style="overflow: auto; width: 358px; height: 470px; margin-top: -513px; margin-left: -265px;"> <script language=javascript> document.title=("KoF3")</script> <style type='text/css'> table.header, table.left, td.mainleft, table.navigation, table.search, #SearchBar1_pnlYouAreHere, table.footer TD {display: none;} #pnlEnabled table, #htmleditor, #lblTimeZone, #pnlEprops, #rblEprops { width: auto !important; } HR {color: #DCDCDC;} table.announcements, table.announcements TH, .button, .textfield, .pulldown {border: 1px solid #DCDCDC; } body div {filter:chroma(color=#589FE7); /* here you are defining which color you want to be transparent in your scrollbars */ scrollbar-arrow-color: #FF9F40; scrollbar-face-color: #589FE7; /* transparent */ scrollbar-3dlight-color: #589FE7; /* transparent */ scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #589FE7; /* transparent */ scrollbar-highlight-color: #FF9F40; scrollbar-shadow-color: #FF9F40; scrollbar-track-color: #589FE7; /* transparent */ } .blogbody { background: none; border-bottom: solid 1px #ffffff; border-top: solid 0px #ffffff; border-right: solid 0px #ffffff; border-left: solid 0px #ffffff;} input, option, select {font-family: arial; font-size:9pt; color: #ffffff; border: 1px dotted solid #DCDCDC; background:#ffffff} body, td, p {color:#ffffff; font-size: 8pt; font-family: arial; text-transform: none; text-align:justify;} a:link {color:#994C00;font-size: 7pt} a:visited {color:#994C00;font-size: 7pt} .title { color: #994C00;font-size: 7pt} a:hover {color:#FF9900;font-size: 7pt;} div.blogheader, .caption {letter-spacing: 0px; text-transform: uppercase; font-size:10px; color: #ffffff; line-height: 30px; text-align: center; font-style: bold; margin-bottom:0px; width: 100%;} div.smalltext {text-align: right; background-color: transparent; line-height: 50px; width: 100%; font-style:normal; font-variant:normal; font-weight:normal; font-size: 7pt} BODY{cursor: url(http://www.freewebs.com/alansmk/cursor.ani);} a {cursor: url(http://www.freewebs.com/alansmk/cursor.ani);} </style> <!-- end code provided by createblog.com --> <!-- end code provided by createblog.com --> I have troubles all the time... |

Because that's how xanga is. -shrug- There isn't any real reason, because it wouldn't do that on a normal web layout (at least I don't think so).
