Thats horrible but funny. The guy should've known better. At least he was kicked out of the gene pool so he couldn't make more stupid babies. Darwins rocks :P

people can do that, if you're really good, companies will sponsor you and give you lots of money just to play.

i've heard about things like that before...like there was this one guy who just played a counter strike type game (or the game itself i don't know) and that's all he did. all he would eat were cup noodles and he rarely slept. i'm not sure if he died but he kept doing that because he was a really high rank and he didn't want anyone to surpass him.

i think it's sad...when a video game controls your life...

I wouldn't sympathize him at all.
Serves him right for playing online games that long.
He even quitted his job for that... WTF.

Sunlight produces heat.
If the world didnt have sunlight, we all died of coldness.
i dunno. You can still live without sunlight.

this isn't surprising... especially since i've seen this a lot in one day blink.gif .

what also makes this non-surprising is that south korea is big for lots of it's gaming. lots of popular games are played there (i.e. : Starcraft, WoW (World Of Warcraft))

there was also another incident in south korea where 2 parents were really obsessed with world of warcraft. left their 4 month old baby at home by himself while they played World Of Warcraft at an internet cafe.

he died of SIDS.

its also hitting china too. there was this one guy in china, he killed this other guy for not giving him some video game items.

I don't think that's strange at all. I guess none of you have been to the casinos at Vegas, Reno or Atlantic City. That kind of behavior goes on all the time.

Yeah, i already knew korea, and most modern asian countries have problems with gaming at cafes.

Last i heard, they were trying to inforce a curfew for cafes and even banning games all together.

Now i see what they're afraid of.

How is someone dying of heart failure, "ROFL" and "LOL" worthy, Susan?

It's actually pretty sad.

It's a bit sad. But people die--it's a natural part of life. The great thing about his death is that he went out doing something he clearly loved.
