Wow. My parents are like that too. I can't date until im 18. I can't even go outside alone with a guy or even girl until im 18. All that is unfair for me, is that, for my parents, guys get more freedom than girls do.

Don't worry... you're not the only one.
 I'm 16 and part of the NBSB Society (No Boyfriend Since Birth), but that's mainly because my parents are strict and I play the role (although not always) of the dutiful daughter. It's not bad, if you think about it. |

No your not the only person not allowed to date. This world is HUGE. There are plenty of girls who aren't allowed to date. A knew quite a bit who couldn't date but still dated secretly. I dated secretly because I wasn't allowed to. I don't recommend it unless your old enough and still not allowed to date. My parents were ridiculous, they said I couldn't date till im 25 or after college.

mi mom never told me i couldnt date, but if i told her one day that i was going out with a guy and i really liked him she would let me..ne way mi mom like loves all mi guy friends so it works
 ..and im possitive your not the only one..like mi friend kate her dad is SOO pretective of her...its hilarious cause all of our guy friends are afraid of her dad cause her dad is their basketball and he has a really scary deep voice lol  ..

My mom's theory is that "you date to get find who you will marry, and you don't need to be worrying about that until you are at least 16" which is true, but my parents are over the top and wont even let me go to the movies alone until I turn 14. gahh.. And all my friends are already allowed to go.

Maybe your parents are afraid that your heart my get broken, or maybe they just want you to wait till you're more mature (maybe like 16, 17, or 18?) But yeah like others said you arent the only one.

I'm not allowed to date, either. But my mum told me, I'm allowed to date this particular boy because she likes him. That was a freaky conversation.
