last year i learnt alot of stuff from createblog...but since i only did layouts for the summer..i couldn't remember what i learnt last year >< so im retrying everything out...i hope it's better than my old layouts =.=

the following two are the same layout but the blog area is diff. One's lighter so the font is black and the other is darker so the font can be white. :) i made these for an anorexic girl (that explains the layout) but she liked another layout i made so this one is up for grabs :)

Your layouts are very cute, I'll admit. Personally, I dislike how the div layer on the Precious Moments one is under the words, it looks kinda bad and you can't read the topmost line of text... Oh! And if you're going to post pictures, thumbnail them, so your blog area doesn't get a horizontal scroll, such as in the first one. Also, I suggest you make your navigation a tad more noticable... It's, like... Yeah. Some of the not-so-smart/lazy people might not be able to fine it. Other than that... I like them. Oh, and... And... I hate the color combination pink and black. But that's a personal problem, so don't feel bad. I encourage you to keep learning about Xanga skinning and someday, perhaphs you will see your Xanga skin available for download here at CB! ^_^

well, last year i posted a few layouts, trying them out for CB but i never got accepted...:( and, i figured that the navi was a little hard to find but i thought, if i used words, it would be too much >< but imma change it up a little anyhow because my friend doesn't like it anyways ><
oh yeahs, the layering thing, i just learnt it...do you know how to make that nicer?

I just dislike how you started it right under the text for the title or whatever. The top line of text is distorted, because it starts directly under the "just" and the tail of the "j" hangs down and you can't read it. Start under that.
The new layout is very pretty, but you may want to make the arrows black, because the rest of the scrollbar is transparent, so it's hard to find the scrollbar.

Actually, I think the second layout is a lot nicer now. The colors go well, and it's just overall very nice and simple. Good job.

im sure u didnt mean to do this, but the i am thin ft mary kate...she had an eating disorder. it was a bad thing. it sort of seems like ur celebrating that.

insomniac-->well, i explained it above, i made it for an anorexic girl...i know it's a disease, but MK is, like, an idol for the anorexic girls out there. that's why i made it that way :) it's kind of like...some kind of support...in a way...:)
