I just wish it would happen in 2008, so I never have to start repaying my student loans.

Ah, he predicted something about asteroids going to blow up the Earth this year...All the girls were freaking out && crying when my friend told them, hah, it was a great laugh. 7 years, I graduate college...Yeah, I can believe it being the end of my educational world, but is that such a bad thing?

I don't believe this. And why worry about what's going to happen in 7 years? Just focus on the present and whatever will happen will happen.

yes, i 've heard about this in social studies. we were watching a video about ancient civilizations and they were saying how the mayans were extremely good about astronomy or something, and they predicted that dec. 21, 2012 would be the day that the cycle of our world or whatever would stop turning. scared the heck out of us, being little 12 year olds at the time...

Don't believe it.

I've read Nostradamus' prophecies, and they are extremely vague. It might sound convincing to us since we already know about the events, and it's easy to twist his words into anything.

Another thing is, I believed he predicted a wide spread attack of Islamic people in Europe, and conquering several countries there. I'll actually start to worry if that actually happens.

Right now, just sit back :)

Is that the one about the baby who was born and could automatically talk but just to deliver a message saying that there would be 3 disasters 2 of which already happened. (twin towers, and tsunami) and there will be one more about falling buildings? And then the baby died.

I didn't know Nostradamus predicted that... if he did, did he say how? He should have..
(I knew about the twin towers and stuff)
and he also said something about a pope being evil or something at the end of the world...
and I find this topic amusing... *robs the nearest bank*

eh; it doesnt actually matter if we all die though. =\
if everyone's gonna die; no point in living. kinda creepy being all alone.
but if it's going to be a cruel painful ending...

omfg. no. nostradamus didn't "predict" ANYTHING. when 9/11 happened, people looked back to what Nostradamus said, twisted his words aroudn to make it seem like it was "predicted", but "two brothers and a bird" wtf. that could mean anything. it's bs.

uhm yeah. well see...all these physics make so many predictions..usually very vague. then when something similar happens they say they predicted it...but they also most likely got all the other predictions wrong..the reason they think the world will end that day is because the aztec calendar ended that day or something. they were suposidly much more advanced with technology and all then us..and some people think they "knew" but personly...i'd rather not stress out about the world ending like that. every day we live is really a miracle. and I don't really think I beleive in this physic stuff anymore. Only because it adds to much stress...and in my opinion..it's full of coincidenses.

I had a much better website of false predictions longer ago...but I can't find it. That shows a few examples though.

^^^..His name was Nastradamus. [sp?]...he lived in a different century.

and yes. I have heard that he predicted the 9/11 attacks.

But I doubt that the world will end 2012..like everyone has already said, he's just BS-ing...[maybe he thought so because it's the end of the Mayan calender..?]

This topic reminds me of Ghostbusters II...I don't know if anyone else feels the same.

ya i agree with you kinda.. but.. now im super paranoid.. even though... ya..
