Saw it. Liked it.
Sure, it wasn't scary. It doesn't really fit under the Horror category. It was more a drama than anything else. The acting was superb, especially by Jennifer Connely and the little girl that played Ceci. Can we say ADORABLE. I also enjoyed the dark storyline. I like how all the characters had their weird, unexplained quirks about them... I guess implying that everyone's got something to hide. And the ending. I was somewhat disappointed with it. It felt rushed and I felt like the movie had built up so much suspense and the ending just didn't do us justice. I expected it to be scarier. *shrugs* Still a good film nonetheless. |

i thought it was pretty good.. not that scary though. the only thing i really didn't like was how they built up a ton of suspense, and then it seemed like they didn't do anything with it, then they built it up again, didn't do anything with it, etc. overall it was definitely worth seeing though.

hmm, in some ways it reminds me of "The Ring" lol. It does look scary tho, so i'm probably not going to see it haha. But i do think that Jennifer Connelly is a wonderful actress, especially in that movie, "Beautiful Mind" :)

I heard that it was very stupid. All my friends said there was lots of popups, but the storyline is stupid. They said it was sooo like Ring. As if it was a sequel haha.
So yeah I'm not watching it :( But... only if they changed the freaking SCENE LIKE RING!!! I would watch it T_T |

the japanese version of "dark water" was by the same director of "the ring", but i don`t think the american versions are going to be as good/scary as the japanese versions.
