Mozilla Firefox/Internet Explorer Options

Well, i just made a layout for my friend, and when i edit the blog space (where it would go on the page) it works on Firefox. Then, when i go to Internet Explorer, its not right (and i change the number from a negative to a positive) then it fits perfectly in Internet Explorer, but not in firefox. Whats with this?

Edit- Right now, this code makes it work for IE, but not FireFox.
