i've seen topics about nair AND veet...and some of the replies are that it works reallly well or it doesn't work at all.
if any of you have experienced them both, which one works better and what's the difference between the two? |

Veet works better! Much better and not to mention it smells better. I like the mousse kind and the one with the bladeless razor. I recommend them both.
As for nair.. I really don't have anything good to say about it. |

Veet - if you're planning to use the bladeless razor with the mousse, DO NOT buy aloe vera (w/ the blue cap). DO NOT BUY IT. Buy the one that is called flower something-or-another(w/ a pink cap)...that one smells tons better.

I think Nair works better than Veet. Veet left a tiny bit of stubble, and Nair works perfectly.

I've never used Veet before, but, as previously stated, I hear it's a lot better than Nair.

Hm, here I go...My friend uses Nair, I use Veet. Overall I'd have to say it depends on your hair type because Veet sure as Hell doesn't work for me...Or I just have to start timing 6 minutes.
Nair;; The normal one smells awful, but the scented one sometimes stings a bit. Veet;; Doesn't leave a funky smell, but can cause a problem...It doesn't always remove hair, but if really all depends on your hair type as I said. Ah, I'd recommend Veet, but try both to see what works best for you. |

I tried using Nair..it's a waste of money.
I haven't tried Veet but it sounds like it's better than Nair. |

i've used veet and nair and i honestly can't really tell the difference. some veet smells better than nair, but some nair products are better than the veet. really depends on which one you get. i'm currently using the sensitive skin nair. it works pretty well and doesn't smell awful. though i prefer the veet cold wax strips. very time saving not having to warm it up and all. hope i was of some help

[b]DO NOT USE VEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I JUST USED VEET AND GOT A HORRIBLE OUTCOME. THEY SAY LEAVE IT ON FOR 3MINUTES WHICH I DID AND IT DID NOT REMOVE THE HAIR. THEY THAN SAY TRY AGAIN IN 3 MORE MINUTES, I TRIED IN 2 MORE MINUES(TOTAL 5MIN) MY LEGS STARTED BURNING, LITERALLY THE NEXT DAY MY LEGS WERE BURNT I HAD TO USE ALOE ON MY BURNS AND THEY ARE NOW SCABBY ALL OVER MY LEGS. NOT TO MENTION IT DIDNT EVEN TAKE ALL OF THE HAIR OFF ONLY WHERE IT TOOK SKIN AS WELL. |

^ Well then you were obviously allergic to it.
It depends on your own skin, really. Some people are allergic to the chemicals they use to get the hair gone. Like, the last time I used Nair I got all red and I broke out...horribly. Thank god I was just testing it on my hand and I didn't actually do my whole legs with it. It depends on you and your body. If you have thicker hair on your legs than chances are these things may not work. It just depends. You gotta try it yourself. |
