i want to do a side module that has a link to some old posts. So i am not for sure exactly what code to use. i know i need to do some sort of ref code, but i guess i am not exactly sure on how to place it in the post i want to link back. pinch.gif does that make sense?

ok. on my friend's xanga she has a module that she links back to old posts and they don't go to her comment page for that post. so how did she do that?

-shrug- I dunno. It's easier just to link off the comments page, because it looks like she has premium.

I don't think she has premium...does she? If I had premium I'd use a skin ;)

Can't you just browse through your xanga by clicking the next five and previous five links and copy the URL? That way you don't need to use the URL of the comment pages.

well we both have premium. i have it simply cause i don't like the ad at the top. but anyhoo, ok.

Ok, so the only thing we need to put in the module for the links is the code below (with her post info that is)

Yes. I'd tell you to use page anchors too, but those are rather... Not so wonderful. And since you have premium... You can use your custom module instead.
