hey, i've had psp9 for a while but im quite clueless how to use it. i just used this picture and did a couple of effects and here's what i got

It's a good start. I don't associate black w/ sunshine. I'd rather see a different font color. Check out the tutorials from cB

 But maybe lower the opacity of the texture a bit? It's a little dark  But still, nice job

I like that! The gradient on the flower petals looks cool. I like the scan dots too.
