Wrong sub-forum. The Myspace Scripts is for submitting codes ONLY. Not asking for help. Thats the Help Forum.

Try the flash music player, all you have to upload is your songs.
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=91197 Or.... Try this. This was gotten from: http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...=20050725170937 Flash Music Player (Part 1) Updated: Due to a new filter MySpace just added, the tutorial has been changed for the player to work. BEFORE READING ON, if you have already downloaded the player, there are many versions of this flash music player and this tutorial is to be use only if you have the following files: mp3player.swf and mp3player.xml. If your files are player.swf & player.xml, then go here. This tutorial will help you create a player that plays multi mp3 files. 1. Obtain the URLs of the mp3 files you want. 2. Click here to download the flash music player. 3. Extract the flash_mp3_player.zip file using WinZip or any other extraction utility of your choice. 4. Open the mp3player.xml file using Notepad, or any other text editor of your choice. It will look something like this: Initial Code<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <player showDisplay="yes" showPlaylist="no" autoStart="yes"> <song path="mp3/homeland.mp3" title="Postmen - Homeland" /> <song path="mp3/jazzalude.mp3" title="Basement Jaxx - Jazzalude" /> </player> A single line represents a song in the playlist and should look something like this: Example Code<song path="http://path_to/song.mp3" title="Artist - Song" /> Insert the exact link of the mp3 file in the "path" attribute (marked in blue), and the artist and title of the song in the "title" attribute (marked red). If you have more songs than the numbers of default lines in the xml file, just add the following code for each song entry before the </player> tag. Copy Code for one Song Entry<song path="Song URL Here.mp3" title="Artist - Track"> NOTE: The player ONLY accept MP3 with NO SPACE between the name. You can insert as many songs as you like, but too many songs will result in excessive playlist scrolling. Other options which you can also set: * showDisplay: if the display should be open on startup. you can insert "yes" or "no". * showPlaylist: if the playlist should be open at startup. you can insert "yes" or "no". * autoStart: if the player should autostart at startup. you can insert "yes", "no" or "random" (to start a random song). Sample Code<player showDisplay="yes" showPlaylist="no" autoStart="yes"> 5. Save the file once you are done adding all the songs you want. 6. Upload both the my3player.xml & my3player.swf file to a webhost into the SAME directory for the player to work properly. (Some webhosts you can use are myfilestash, ripway, or any other listed here under free hosting.) 7. After the player and playlist are uploaded, go to TinyURL, or another URL Shortening Service of your choice, and enter the URL to your mp3player.swf to create a shorter URL. For example, if the URL to your mp3player.swf is http://www.webhost.com/username/mp3player.swf, once you use TinyURL it will become something like http://tinyurl.com/8eesw. 8. Once you have obtained the TinyURL address to your player.swf, copy & paste the following code anywhere you want to have the flash music player. Replace "http://tinyurl.com/xxxxx" with your TinyURL address to your mp3player.swf (marked in red). Then insert the URL to the playlist where it say "http://path_to/playlist.xml" (marked in blue). Copy Code<embed src="http://tinyurl.com/xxxxx" menu="false" quality="high" bgcolor="Transparent" width="300" height="300" name="index" allowScriptAccess="always" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" flashvars="playList=http://path_to/mp3player.xml" wmode="transparent" /> 9. Click on the submit button to apply the changes to your myspace profile. NOTE: Support for other audio formats is impossible. Also, flash doesn't support vbr (variable bit rate) mp3 files. if you play vbr mp3 files, the playback will sound like a chipmunks version of your songs. the best way to encode mp3 files is to use a fixed bitrate of 64/96/128 kbps with a sample frequency of 22.05 kHz and joint stereo. BEFORE ASKING FOR HELP: * make sure you are reading the CORRECT tutorial for your flash music player * please spend time reading the WHOLE tutorial and not just skimming through it * don't forget to obtain a TinyURL address for your player (step 7) & place it in the code provided (step 8) * make sure your code is correct * if you only see linkin park on your playlist: o make sure the link to your xml file is correct & working o carefully check to see if there are any errors in the xml file o make sure all the links to your mp3 files are still working & that there are NO spaces in EACH of the mp3 links. |
