Well I'm 15, and I need one ;D. Not to talk on the phone with people (but that's a plusplusplussss), but to contact my mom if anything happens or if I need a ride or I need to tell her something (like I'm on board on a plane or whatever). It's really convenient if you think about it.
I still say I need it >O. |

i dont have a cellphone and im 13.
our school doesnt allow electronics. but everytime im at lunch.. everyone just flips out their cellphones. |

I got my phone when I was 13. I didn't even ask for it. My grandma jus got it for me because she always gets me stuff every now and then. I have had three phones and I am currently 15 about to turn 16. And i want another one for my birthday that's right after christmas.

i have one, but its only beacause my mom is paranoid about me walking home from school and taking any other type of transportation except for her own car. mmhmm... thats super-paranoia.

i dont have a cell either. What sucks about that is not the fact that i dont have a cell it that everyone around me has one. This 6th grader i know has one and my sister is getting one for her b-day later in the year. But i dont really mind. My parents cant keep tabs on me like where i go or who i hang out with not that its a problem. I tell them and if they dont trust me well thats there problem. Planning to get one anyways next year after i turn 16 and get a job. Cant depend on my parents forever.

You can ask your mom for like a tracfone(<<----that's how it's really spelled) thing. I have one and I'm eleven. And if i gets stolen you won't have to pay cuz it's a prepaid card thingamajig. ++think about...........do you really need one? Or is it peer pressure. It's okay not to have a cell phone. And it's good that you feel that you don't need one. It took me a year of begging to finally get one... and now when I leave the house without...I feel naked o.O .

No sweetie! You are not the only one without one. I am 17 and i still don't have one. Look on the bright side though, you can be places and your parents, and other people that you would rather not know where you are, can't call every second and ruin your fun. It'll be ok! I'm pretty sure that everyone will have one some day!

I JUST got a cell phone because I needed one...I'm such a busy person that I need a way to contact my parents when after school activities are over.
And I'm 15. So don't worry about it. As long as there are friends letting you use theirs when you absolutely NEED it, which you said that you don't really need one, you're good. |

a lot of people i know that live in my area has a cell phone. i had one since 4th grade? a lot of young kids have them now a days.
