Heh. My best guy friend has 2 sisters. I'm friends with his older sister but his lil sis just plain hates me. I don't know why though, I never did anything to make her hate me. Could it be because she's just too overprotective of her brother(since she thinks that I like him)? X.x help would be much appreciated. =]

Is the lil sis older then the brother? Or is it it lil sis, bro, older sis?
Anyway, like you said she might be overprotective if she's older then him (or younger) or maybe there's just no reason. Maybe she heard some things about you? The best way I think would just be talking to her and finding out why she dislikes you |

Probally she hates you because you are taking her brother attention away from her. Maybe she was really close to her brother before, and then suddenly when you became friends with him, her brother no longer pay attention to her. Ask her why maybe? And talk to him and ask him why she might hate you so much..

maybe she thinks you're taking her brother away from her. maybe you could try including her in a few things. that way she'll be more open with you.

Like everyone said, jealousy. He's her older brother, it's a pretty important person in her life, basically she's depending on him to protect her in a way. She's just afraid that you might take some of that protection and care away from her. My boyfriend's sister is kinda like that. She doesn't hate me, but she doesn't like me. I"ve only ever talked to her on msn, and I haven't said or done anything to her. O well, just be nice to her, and make sure not to take her big brother away from her

she hates you cos your getting her brothers attention.
im like that with my brother. if any female tries to hang out with him a lot im always sticking around nagging at her tryna see whatsup. its just cos im protective of him, and hes if not worse the exact same with me. i guess shes just trying to see if your "good enough" for what she thinks her brother deserves. dont worry too much about it. |

My little sister usually hates my friends, even though she doesn't seem to like me much....but my best friend and I think it's because she's jealous of other people getting attention from me, even if it's subconsciosly, and she's afraid she'll never see me again. Or something like that.

Okay, so you know the reason she hates you. She's jealous. You should try to include her sometimes, if you guys are hanging out. You might want to talk to her. Ask her what the problem is and try to explain you're not trying to steal her big brother away from her.
