Shaving cream moisturizes your skin more then shaving with just water or something. It also makes your legs, etc. smoother. I've shaved for like 2 years and i don't have the shaving dots. I think it just depends on the person. :)

^^it's probably because you have light hair so your pubic hair is probably light too.

if you have dark hair, you can get spots if you don't get a close shave...especially if the hair you're shaving is dark...it's not that noticeable though, it's not as if people stare at your armpits.

i never used shaving cream before...i just use lathered up soap, from what i see in commercials, that's pretty much what shaving cream is.

I cannot remeber where I read this but I use conditioner and yes the type for you hair it leaves my legs really silky and my friend spent the night the first time I did and she literally stuffed a pillow down my throat to shut me up about how soft they felt ^^ besides i hate shaving cream I don't know why. But I have dark hair and yes there are spots but you'd have to be a creep to stare at somes armpits.

if you receive red dots its because its a reaction to shaving. i've gotten red dots after shaving. i just soak it in warm water and put on lotion and within 2 days it goes away. i have sensitive skin so that's why.
