blink.gif blink.gif I have a problem blink.gif

I am a city girl, I was born in the city but now I live in the boring suburbs of North carolina. I hate it!!! I want to live in the city so badly, but I feel like I am trapped here in this bug infested hell. all day I fantasize about modern NYC apartments with breathtaking views of the city. What am I going to do! cry.gif

take out all the trees and plants around your house, pour cement over the grass, and raise a large flock of pigeons..

Or maybe you can try to get one of those large wall posters/paintings/whatever with a skyline image... I still think the pigeon raising would be much more fun though..

Not all the apartments here in NYC are modern or have breathtaking views of the city...
But I suggest getting posters and pictures of the city, especially the skyline and images of the waterfront...

appreciate nature, that's what you should do.

my "big city backyard" looks like an elephant ran through it.

^ LMFAO.

um.. i was born in a city too. not neccessarily raised there, but when I moved to a suburb 30 minutes away, it was quieter. you should try and give the suburb a chance.. you know "live it" and see what's great about it. ;o iunno, did that make sense?

I have the same problem girl. Im a city girl too. Thats why Im moving to L.A. next year after I graduate (cant wait). But what you have to do is make life in the suburbs the best you can while your there. You could make friends that live around you, and maybe take trips to the city on the weekends.

Yea , the only thing is for you to move out and back , but most likely your not going to be able to do that soon so you might as well think positive about the place . Just like the people that live there will probly hate the city. You'll get used to it there , just like you did to the city. you just have to be willing to.
It can't be that bad.

Who knows, maybe you would like the suburbs.
If not, just put posters of NYC on your walls and stuff.
