Ok, so, I have no idea what wordpress does, does it like make a blog or something? I'm looking for a way to do that y0. I just wanna put a blog on my site you know. So, I have no idea what to do, I tried blogger, and there was an error, B2 is weird and confuzing, and I'm just stupid and crazy. Somebody help me.

wordpress is hard .
its a blogging system just like b2 . if you want an easy one i suggest you use greymatter or just blog manually and add haloscan(http://haloscan.com). it looks like your on a freeserver. if you are you cant get blogging systems like that unless you get a msql host or w/e databasses you need. so most likely you have to blog manually and use haloscan for comments. |

Yes, like Toya said wordpress is a blogging program, it is really hard. Well atlest that's what most people think. I don't recommend it. If the host of your subdomain knows alot about it, then maybe they can install it for you. I recommend greymatter though.

Nope, I'm not on a free server as of now. I use godaddy and I have my own domain I don't think that matters though? I'll try grey matter.

Wait, I tried greymatter, and I'm like. Whoa how do I post? I mean I got it up on my website but it looks kind of weird. View it http://sailingmishap.com/blogyboo.htm It's not working? I need help, I tried their fourms, but they confuse me with more complicated things.

ok to post you need your url.
the url would be the path to "gm.cgi. for example : your url SHOULD BE (depending on what tutorial you find) http://yourdomain.com/gm/gm.cgi to change the colors and stuff your gm look here: http://pixelfx.org (tutorials>>cgi/php>>) if you have doubts on how you set it up because you cant find the gm.cgi unistall it and re do it using hte tutorial on the above site . to get your gm in the box on like other things are boxed on your site you have to use an iframe. |

Okay, so on frontpage what do I save the file as?? I saved it as gm.cgi and it didn't work. Atleast I don't think it did? www.sailingmishap.com

dont just save the front page . just go back and do this tutorial . like start all over .

whats the link to your gm.cgi? like where you uploaded it in your ftp server. thats the link where you will edit your greymatter your front page of your site is index.html unless you have a splash page . your splash page would be index.html and the next page will be whatever you want. if you have aim i can try to explain it over there (my aim : bam iz SOY SAUCE) |

.... wait a minute you bought a domain without knowing almost anything about instaling stuff on it. i recomend cancelling your domain and trying to get accepted into a sub-domain first. buying a domain when you're not even ready for it is just a waste of space and you/ your parents money.
