Do any of you have dogs? If so, do not use flea shampoo. Vets ghave stopped using it because it poisons the animals. I did not know this, and I lost the best friend I ever had yesterday. I love my doggie, and i miss him so much. Buy them a flea collar, they dont hurt, but please dont bathe them in flea dip. I wish i wouls have known.

He just got so sick from the poisoning and it made his organs start to fail. Regular human shampoo is great for doggies... and if you want to keep fleas off them skin so soft spray works. I dont want anymore dogs to die from that terrible stuff. I miss my little baby... here he is...

Wasnt he cute? he was my best friend for 9 years.

im not trying to be mean because your dog died over this...but wouldnt you think that a flea collar has some of the same things in it as the dip? i mean i doubt theres 3496587345 ways out there to kill fleas. and plus, what if the collar came off and the dog ate it. theres always something that could go wrong, its just unfortunate that this is the way it happened to your dog

btw, i heard that washing your dog with soap used to do dishes is good for something...i dont remember what though.

flea collars arent as toxic, I know because I asked the veteranarian. My mom even called the flea shampoo company and they have had many dog death reports called in.

Yes, it still hurts them because the poison gets absorbed into the dogs skin and eventually affects the entire body, causing the dog to become sick.
