do you think a radio dj should have given away the ending to the new harry potter book?

ok, in kansas city there's a radio station with an afternoon show that has some "outgoing" djs on it. usually they use a lot of adult language and say some offensive stuff, so they really don't have much of a young audience.
every once in awhile, they play a game where they ruin the ending of something. usually it's just a newly released movie, but the other day the dj decided to give away the ending to the new harry potter book. within the next couple of days he recieved a lot of emails and phone calls complaining about what he did. his defense was "it's a kids book and adults shouldn't be so obsessed with it"

what do you think? should he have given it away, especially since it hasn't even been out for a week?

Just because his audience might be mostly adults, it doesn't mean that kids aren't going to listen to it. He ruined it for a lot of people and I think that's rude. & so what if adults love harry potter?

I think the DJs should at least warn their listeners if they are gonna ruin something, but then, it is their game.

Okay. I don't get this. If the book is for kids. Then how did they find out the ending? They had to of read it or something. So they shouldn't be acting like that.
Douches.

Well that was pretty Effed up but The first ammendment allows people like that to say what they want.. Its pretty funny if you think about it but then again If a kid was a TRUE harry potter fan then he/she wouldnt have been listening to the radio cuz theyll be too busy reading and analyzing the story =D
