ok im having trouble setting my email accounts up...
would it be a POP or IMAG for hotmail? and what would the incoming and outgoing servers be? oh this is for thunderbird. |

...do you have your own domain? thunderbird is only an email CLIENT. it isnt an email provider like hotmail or yahoo. typically, you only use thunderbird or outlook if you have your own POP3 email account off of a domain.

Hotmail uses POP to access email from a client. (It might also be able to use IMAP now, but I know it definitely uses POP.) However, you have to pay extra for this feature. When you do, Hotmail will provide you with the appropriate server information.
