especially, it keeps on updating new stuff on cs.. its interesting but just that the graphics are getting more and more better... more and more interactive... u will spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on it haha

Friends of mine plays it. Argh I dislike that game, as I do of any first person shooter game.
 One friend of mines is like a hardcore player and yea... PWned my other friend. Very funny. :P Haha. I'm going to stick to my cB arcade games.. Yea..

I have cs:s and for some reason one day it decided not to work
 well actually my whole steam and all my games on it arent playing, there trying to make me purchase them like i never had them.

i have good advice for newbies. =) when i first started, i was extra careful and didn't shoot unless i thought it would be a great shot. so i died. the trick is, aim around the upper body and strafe around the enemy, spray, pray, and boom you win.

wow counter-strike v 1.6 owns..it has all these mods and it never gets boring in mods but if ur playin regualr it gets soooooo boring and if ur really good at it u could be in CAL if u know wut that is if u don't, don't worry bout it

To sum up this whole thread..
CS:S is rumored to be better than 1.6 but it isn't. I've played it and I still agree with anyone that says it's still a work in the progress, but it will be better when it becomes CS 1.8 1.6 is the basic CS for anyone that doesn't know and it gets mods all over the place. Leagues: OGL = Online Gaming League (I'm in for next season) CAL = Cyber Athletic League (I'm in for next year) CPL = Cyberathlete Professional League (Maybe in a few years..) Each league has its own set of "ladders" which are basically sections of competition. I'm too familiar with CAL or CPL, but I do know that OGL happens to have 3v3, 4v4 and some other ladders which you can find on the site. Overall, online competition is mad stiff. I'm still working on my new computer.. It's a pain, but it's worth the money. If anyone cares, I run Revolution909.org which is basically a new online forum for gamers, specifically Half Life players and random people. In game, you can find me under these names, Audiofreaky, Mr.Giggles, A Girlscout, ShockTrooper, Catch-22, etc. It goes on. Teams: `k[P] , Revolution909 , [eDa] , [1UP] , -707- |

ahhhh guys!! I cant play CS for some reason, everytime I open up counter strike a window pops up and says:
 I already tried to reinstall and iono what to do. If any of you guys experence this problem or just knows what to do, please help thanks |

Try running a virus scan using Microsoft Antispyware and then download and run XCleaner to wipe a few unnecessary files out. Then make sure nothing else media related (ie Winamp, IE/Firefox) is running. Good luck
