Haven't Heard alot about it except they are trying to make it feel like NY. I however didn't really like the first one since it was a ripoff of GTA in a way. Gotta see some Screenshots of it and maybe more detail on the game to make a final decision.

Streets of LA felt like a GTA clone to me. The bulet time thing got lame pretty quickly.

No, I didn't like the first one. It just really lacked a lot compared to GTA.
