I love my acoustic... but I really want an electric as well.
I like both, but as people previously stated, it pretty much depends on what mood I'm in. |

Electric. It's twangy, it's overdriven, it's clean--in a word, versatile. And it's able to take way more damage on stage.

i like acoustic better... the sound is a lot softer and deeper, and they're used in ballads a lot, which i like

I have an acoustic guitar. It's a tie, but I put acoustic because it sounds much more peaceful and not-twangy if you know what I mean.

I love and appreciate both the sound of the electric guitar and the sound of the acoustic guitar.
I, however, probably prefer playing the electric guitar. It fits with the types of music I like better and I find it to be more fun. |
