i hate the music that my gf listens to. but i dont want to tell her and hurt her feelings, i mean all she thinks about is her music... should i tell her, and have her mad, or just live through the misery everyday???

Why don't you say "Hey let's listen to one of my CDs for a change." Or if she keeps listening to music that you don't like, say "I don't really like this singer, can we listen to something else?"

^Well not everyone will get mad, because if someone told they didn't like the music I listened to, I wouldn't get mad I'd just say "Ok, we can listen to something else."

well .. isn't part of a relationship about admiring another's personality ? .. if you dont like tha other person's music, then you don't like their personality .. so it does matter ..


i think you should tell her .. but not that you HATE her music .. just .. offer to listen to something else .

Suggest that you listen to some of your music as well if you're always listening to her music.
If you don't like her music, then that's okay, but don't try and get her to like your music. It's good to have some differences, you know, even in a boyfriend/girlfriend type of relationship such as yours.

you: she got mad cuz i didnt like her music.

im sure if you asked shell change or at least give your music a shot.

(is she into the whole emo, warped tour type of music?)
