I could name a few things i look for in a guy, he's gotta be sweet, non-egotistical, not sadistica( this was added when one of my boyfriends had a creepy obsession with pain ermm.gif ) and cute. I gotta have the lloks and I'm not talking drop dead gorgous. He can be cute, I find that adorable. Oh yeah and not to ripped.

Techinically probably a non exsistant man.....

Edit

HUNDREDTH POST YAYNESS!

yeah i think it's different for every girl but usually girls say personailty & sort of looks. can't be hideous? i guess thats what most girls think. personality is just a major one because who wants a good looking jackass? _dry.gif also yeah... if the girl wants a serious/good relationship then they would pick a guy reliable to their necessities and someone they can actually work with for a while. but i ono some girls go for gorgeous hot guys lol ? hmm yea.

I don't go for HOT guys but I like them to be cute. Then again dating a cute guy was my problem in the last relationship, he was a real jackass. _dry.gif

lalala, i'm bored so i'm going to write a lot.

what ruth looks for in a guy, by ruth
-should have some musical/artistic talent,
-shares the same musical interests&other,
-shares the same religion,
-please. have some athletic talent, or you'll never keep up with me.
-intelligence.
-respects me and my opinions,
-doesn't grovel,
-supports my mad ambitions, like going to my yearly tournaments and such,
-shares feelings, is honest
-will not ditch friends or me. if the friends got the date, he doesn't give it up for me. if i got the date, he won't give it up for his friends.
-can carry on a decent conversation, meaning you say more than "yeah.. okay.. maybe.. haha"
-un-pushy-ness laugh.gif
-sensitive to what i'm thinking.
-the power to be perfectly happy just being around each other without needing to saying anything.
-be genuine. i don't want you to change and be a jerk while i'm not looking.

i'm tiredd.

things girls find attractive in men:

1.) a good sense of humor: he can laugh at themself at times but stand up for himself when he's offended.
2.) opinionated: he needs to be able to speak his mind and not hold important issues to himself
3.) thoughtful: i had a huge headache and sore throat yesterday which continuted into today, after i went to summer school i went to my boyfriend's house and he surprised me by having lunch already made (which is quite rare), with soup for my sore throat
4.) a romantic: kind of like the thoughtfulness but more in the sense of a significant other type of thing, you know, the mushy but sweet letters, a rose out of nowhere for no reason other than for the simple fact that you love her, etc
5.) chivalry: pulling her chair out for her, opening a door, giving her your jacket when she's cold, etc
6.) spontaneous: out of the blue just surprise her by doing something she loves or by going somewhere you know she's interested in (like in save the last dance where that guy took julia stiles out to see the ballet before they went out because he knew she was into ballet in a way) or by just looking through the newspaper together and be like "hey that sounds fun" (like some time ago, there was a flower show at macy's, my boyfriend and i went to because we saw it in the paper)
7.) confidence: he doesn't have to be full of himself or love everything about himself, he just needs to be comfortable with himself, you know, don't complain about every little thing
8.) an open mind: don't be too uptight about everything, you can't just stick to every opinion you have, when you two are talking you can share your opinions and have them mesh together to form a better understanding of the topic from different points of views
9.) respect: respect the things she stands for, even if you're completely against them, nothing has only one answer.
10.) communication: don't pull that "i'm not talking to you" bullsh*t, not only girls hate it, EVERYONE hates it...
11.) compliment: i must say, most girls are very self conscious about themselves so give them a compliment whenever you can, but they have to be TRUE comliments, don't lie about stuff like this...like if she has a big tummy and you say "yeah, that belly shirt looks so good on you"
12.) don't lie: NEVER lie about anything...unless it's a good surprise, you know that thing where you tell her you're doing something boring but you surprise her with something else, kind of like the whole deal about pretending you forgot someone's birthday but you really didn't, you get the idea
13.) don't brag: we hate it when we finally give it up to you and within hours the whole school knows, or when you boast about something you achieved 5 years ago...especially when it doesn't apply to you anymore...like if you were the most valuable player in middle school but you suck at sports now
14.) do the right thing: if your friend is being cheated on/cheating on someone and you tell us, you HAVE to do something about it...otherwise we'll think that you're a jerk for letting your buddy hurt someone.
15.) nostalgic: most people love reminiscing about their childhood loves...like old nickoldeon shows (eureka's castle)
16.) don't complain: if we're going to do something we like that you probably don't like, don't bitch and moan about it, you had a choice, you could have just done something else but you wanted to come anyway, keep the whining to yourself
17.) comfort: if your girlfriend is crying hug her, even if she tells you not to, she most likely wants you to, it shows that you care
18.) sensitive: you can't be a hardass all the time, show some compassion, it's okay if you cried in "a walk to remember" who didn't? (or at least feel sad or something)
19.) keep certain things to yourself: yeah, girls want to know everything about you but we do not need to know about how you needed surgery in your testicular area because your intestine was too long and extended into your ball sac
20.) be who you are: don't dress up to be someone you're not, sure you can try to but in the long run, the suit will fall apart.

that's all i can think of for now...god, why do i put so much time in this? _unsure.gif

i don't want to read it over so, sorry for whatever i messed up grammar wise.

What I look for:

- Confidence. Yes, even confidence bordering on cockiness. Just as long as he has evidence to pull it off.
- Gentlemen. Guys who hold open doors, don't hit girls, are polite, NEVER rude, etc. Chivalry is a main factor.
- Protection. Yeah, a guy who would fight for me and stand up for me no matter what.
- Spontaneous. Guys don't have to plan out a date to maximize the fun. Just being with him is enough.
- Respect. A guy who treats me right and doesn't lie. Sneaky guys are the worst.
- Outgoing. I know that I shy away when I like someone, so he has to be able to talk me up and make the first move.
- Manliness. Yes, no girly-boys allowed. He should dress nice, but not to the extent of vanity.
- Pride. He should be proud of being with me, and show me off whenever he gets the chance. Public displays of affection are a given.
- Taller than me.
- Athletic, but doesn't make sports the main topic of conversation.
- Talented.
- Loving. I know I have an ego, so a guy who constantly makes me feel loved/appreciated. Would do anything to be with me.

<333
Well, that's my perfect guy.

Ahh. I used to always get in trouble for going for only guys who fit my "perfect description." But there are a SOME basic necessities..

+ He has got to treat my friends right. You can tell how a person will treat you by looking at how they treat other people.

+ I feel comfortable talking with him.

That's not too much to ask for.. Right?

Alright one time i was browsing around the boys locker room, it's scary in there, but anyways, there was this thread of "What kind of guy are you?" and Brenden [RockizLife] wrote this:

QUOTE
I'm a mix. I'd say The Skater type cause I am, lol, The Guitar Type cause I love rock and guitars, The Jock Type cause I love sports, The Theatre Guy cause I want to be an actor and I like theatre alot, The Funny Type Jack-ass funny type cause I'm usually always making someone laugh and Nice Guy cause I try to be nice to everyone. Wow, I'm quite a mix

That to me, is Hot. Where you can fit in with so many people yet still feel comfortable. Makes for a very versitile life.
