My Photoshop is officially dead. For some reason, ImageReady works...so I had to finish this baby up on ImageReady, which is NOT fun, btw.

Here's a lovely picture of Ola Janeczek that I chose to colouriztion. The original was in colour, but first I grayscaled it, then I colourized.

Haha, yours looks 34827 times better than the original. ILU throb.gif

How did you do the skin color/tone? It looks really realistic. And her eyeshadow is gorgeous. AHH! So pretty.

I love it (especially the eyeshadow), but her skin seems just a little too smooth.

Yeah, I gaussian blurred it a little too much =\. I knew it before, but I couldn't fix it. (my Photoshop's dead)

Thanks everyone

Grace - I really don't know how I did that. First I just colourized the original picture without any screen/overlaying, then somehow...after I blurred and fixed the contrast by duplicating layers, setting them to screen and overlay, it started looking really realistic. Oh, and I fiddled around with variations, too.

i love the one u did b'cuz in the original, u can see her foundation n makeup but in urs it looks more like her skin glows. hmm... i was wonderin maybe u can make a tutorial for this or perhaps show the one u followed by? it's hard to find good colourization tutorials and i've tried goodtutorials.com.

I must say, this is amazing. I absolutely LOVE the stuff you make.

But on her face, the highlights near her forehead are extremely bright and it doesn't really look like skin.

But who cares? Overall, it's awesome!

...How? I suppose her eyeshadow's supposed to be purple, then, to match the dress? Or a baby blue with pink frosting?

*shrugs* Oh well, I'm a sucker for contrast. I'd rather have contrast than reality. =]

Thanks.
