Where I live there is no jr.high. There's elementary school: pre-k - 8th grade. Then highschool 9th-12th
Where I go to school it's jr.high 6th-9th (I was one scared ass little 6th grader...) and high school 10th-12th |

I got to a Catholic private schoool, and it's 6-8 (jr. high) & 9-12 (highschool).
For the public schools around here.. it's 7-9 (jr. high) and 10-12 (highschool). |

ours is REALLY weird.
since we have too many people, we had to split high schools into two divisions of high school. middle school - 6th to 8th high school - 9th and 10th SENIOR high school (completely different place) - 11th and 12th. |

high - 9-12 why would you want to put 8th graders with 10th and 11th graders? They're still kinda young in some aspects. |
