QUOTE(rememberme @ Apr 7 2005, 12:41 PM) Ur car might be V8 SOHC maybe... But damn, with all that stuff, plus a big ass engine, I'm pretty sure ur power to weight ration just plain out sucks. No dis-respect intended. Power to weight ratio does suck yes. btw it is a 4.0 DOHC 32valve. Not SOHC. But i will tell you what when the winter was here the seat warmers definetaly spoil you.. |

I dont like ricer's w/ nothing under the hood to back it up. All show and no go is just plain out POSING. Aerodynamic yet "stylish" body kits that sometimes even restrict air into the engine bay is just plain out retarded. What's the need to be so aerodynamic if you're never going to hit 60 in more than 15 seconds...

In my world, rice burners are Jap imports.....rice rockets Jap bikes. I don't think there are any other (AsiaN) imports that would even count as crappy cars, which is why Toyotas and Hondas are the general idea behind "rice burner".
If anyone so much as mentions Hyundai take them out back and shoot them.................Korean garbage-they need to put bigger rubber bands in those fraggers. |

To discuss ricers. And please don't double post. Just edit your original post by clicking [edit] in the top right corner of your post. Anyway. Rice, imo, is overrated. Some rice rockets are really nice, but oftentimes, the spoilers are so nasty. alskjdhflkzx Spoilers.. are just not my thing. :\ |

Well whenever either of the idiots (the one with the Blewbaru or the Oldsmobile) feels froggy, come try me out.
2004 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 Mat Mladin Replica: Let's look at the pluses it has over both a Subaru and an Oldsmobile (and most all ricers, for that matter). + Overall length: 80.5 in. (less than 7 ft). + Overall width: 28.1 in. (less than 2.5 ft). + Overall height: 44.6 in. (less than 4 ft). + Transmission: 6-speed; constant mesh. + Overall weight: appx. 168 kg (370 lbs). + Front tire: 120/70 ZR-17. + Rear tire: 190/50 ZR-17. + Ground clearance: 5.1 in. + Customizable suspension [Front: inverted telescopic; Rear: link-type, fuel-dampened]. + Fuel tank capacity: 4.4 gal (Getting appx. 44 mi/gal). + Yoshimura TRS bolt-on exhaust. General specs: - 988cc engine. - 16-valve DOHC. - 4-stroke, 4-cylinder. - appx. 171 HP @ 10,800 RPM. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() With the 300 HP comes a ton, or two. I'd gladly race you, though neither of you stand a chance. Just a P.S.: Who tries to claim that an Oldsmobile Aurora is a cool car..?! ... |

Why are you comparing a sports bike with a 4dr 3967lb sedan???? I dont like bikes. You will prolly get killed on that thing. I hear of people in cars like mine getting hit at 65mph and coming out with only some tears and deep cuts.
p.s. smoked a srt-4 yesterday from a 40 P.S.S I am not so much interested in racing other people much more, but when they rev next to me, its a go. My seats and surrounding are so comfortable in this car, i could easily sleep in here. I love hearing the V8 sing too.

they're okay..but the hype has died down. I'd rather spend my money and get an expensive car..than putting 20+ grand into suping up a honda...

QUOTE(CrackedRearView @ Jul 4 2005, 11:56 PM) Oh, i beg to differ. 450HP? Not your typical Jaguar or jag driver bud. I would take you on any day when driving this badass machine. Thats beside the point anyhow. You cant compare a 500lb bike with all that power to a 4000lb car. You just cant. I never did that, and i dont see the reason you are. Either way, this jag can kick ass like you wouldnt believe. 60mph in 4 seconds from a standing stop. 100 in only 9. No ricer with a turbocharged econobox 4 bangers come close. |

CrackedRearView your bike is the best post here. It will stomp the
living Me included Be careful though. A lot of my friends went down hard because they talked smack and wouldn't back down. If you're ever in Cali the road from Lake Elsinore to Capistrano kicks ass. Rt 18 from San Bernardino to Arrowhead is pretty good too. OOPS! I just realized you do live there! Hell yeah! You get to ride that bike in LaJolla?! |

Are you out of your mind? I took my GSX-R to the Kansas City International Dragstrip a couple of weeks ago and did the 1/4 mile in 9.89 sec. @ 138.7 MPH. You might 'take me on' in a 450HP Jaguar, but you'd go down in flames. It's not all about raw power, y'know. |

Ahahahahaha, you seroiusly think a Jag can take on a liter bike? Ahahaha, you're funny dude. Not only could any GSX make the Jag look like a go-kart...but put a Kawasaki ZX-10 [it's also 998cc] and it runs a 9.23 quarter mile =D
In a flat out drag race...a bike could beat a car any day |

auroradude- You're starting to sound like a car salesman trying to sell your aurora to a teenager. I've actually seen an aurora on the expressway and it had some ugly ricer spoiler. We went at it and well lets just say he needed a carwash from my exhaust.
Ricers are the cars who have all the decals. All show and no go. It makes me upset that posers had to ruin tuners to mere RICERS. Anyways... here's my car. She's a sleeper. ![]() 93 Honda Prelude. No show but all the go. But I still say the 93-94 prelude has a great body without any mods. I'm not fond of the newer preludes... |
