Carrying a Condom, Is it slutty ?

i searched and didnt find a topic on this so:

Do you think it is slutty for girls to carry condoms or means of sexual protection ? Because if guys do it, they are ready and responsible. If girls do it they are sluts.
What is your opinion on this ?

I myself do not think it is slutty. I always have a condom or two on me, whether in my backpack/purse/pocket.

i started carrying them freshman year too. actually this is freshman year for me so i started carrying them this year. i have had condoms since i was like 11 (i actually collected them. weird i know. then my older brother took them all) but now i carry one with me. im not having sex but im a spontaneous girl so i never know what im going to do. i want to be safe. its not even like i plan on having sex soon but having one makes me feel safe.

hey, at least youre being safe.

we were at a carnival one time and a girl had one slightly hanging out of her back pocket and my dad says "is that the way these days to know if a girl is taken"

my dad is by far the funniest person in the world. thats not funny compared to half the stuff he says.

I'd say both.. Its safe to have a condom, yet its giving the impression to others that you have sex at any unplanned moment a lot, which is kind of slutty.

i wouldnt necessarily think of it as sluttly. a lot of people are doing it these days. why not follow the crowd?

I think it's pretty cool for a girl to carry around a condom, it shows that your prepared for anything that might happen. I don't carry one because I'm too embarassed to go buy one in the first place.

P.S. Never ever carry a condom in your wallet. All the rubbing will definatley end up ripping the latex and then using it would be as good (or bad) as not using one at all.

and actually I woudl think it's kinda slutty for anyone who's under...about 16 or even 18 to carry one around because I don't think it's good to be sexually active that early _unsure.gif I don't want to have sex till I'm like at least 18.

lol, all you guys make pretty good points.
in my opinion, which i dont think i ever posted when i started this

i think its okay, not slutty UNLESS your using it for nightly romps on the guys [ i mean town ] ( and by that i mean different guys each night or something...) but i dont find it slutty at all. but some girls when they found out i had one in my backpack were like ohmy.gif so i decided to see cB's opinion.

I think it means your ready, either girl or boy. =T But girls are the ones who need it a lot more because not only do we have to deal with STDs but also PREGNANCY. -_- Slutty? Welll, I guess kind of. Maybe.
