Oh man I hate those shoes. They are just about the ugliest shoes I have ever seen. I don't understand how girls can wear them.

I wear them. I have like, 10 pairs. They're comfy and you can wear them with almost anything.

Yea those are trendy now, they cost like 5 cents to make, and some of them are like $10, when they are so cheaply made. I don't find them comfortable to walk in, I feel like I'm going to trip all the time.

out here in the bay area [ or maybe just everyone i hear ] calls them ripper slippers. cos apparently on rips bought them at first. yeah they were REALLY popular. now they kinda fizzled out and its back to the usual nikes converse and especially the jordans.

I think they're beautiful! Maybe it's just me, but no one here in texas have worn them!
I'm going to New York this summer and when i go to Chinatown I'm going to buy some. And a pair of Japanese Tatami Zori. Those look great, too.
