i think its cool to get married to your frist gf/ bf... if its really meant to be.

As idealistic as that seems, no. My first date was a jerk; he wanted to screw after less than two weeks of getting to know each other. .... I was in eighth grade, he was in ninth. What a loser.

i don't see anything wrong with doing that. i mean--yeah some people will be like "you have to date around to see who you really are ment to be with--who you match more with" but sometimes, your first one is the best one you've ever had. maybe the rest are just going to be bitches.

I meant that I don't want to date too many other people and give my heart away to them and have nothing left to give the person I'm gonna marry..

My first boyfriend? He played with my heart and broke it into a million pieces. And we don't even talk anymore, so no, I wouldn't marry him. I think i'd die if I did.

But if your first date was perfect for you, then why not? It's romantic ^^ However, I believed in the dating more than one person to find your match thing; variety is always good.

ehh...no. he's a nice guy and all but...no. he's still a friend of mine though. but yeah, that was back in freshman year and i just don't see that happening...for some, it may be possible if they are that lucky with their first pick. *shrug*

Is this in general or are you specifically asking about "our first date"? I'd marry whoever I thought was right, regardless of it was the first or last person I dated. Specifically, HELL NO, I would not marry my first boyfriend if he were the last human on earth. _smile.gif

The whole Highschool Sweetheart thing is very sketchy to me. I think that in some point during the relationship, the two should take a break for a while to date around and see what they are missing, or what they aren't missing. I think this secures the relationship and doesn't leave you wondering mid-marrige "what could have been"

my first boyfriend was nice but we're just too different...most people don't end up with their first boyfriend/girlfriend because they're usually young and only dated each other for the wrong reasons...or as the mature they grow apart.

my parents were their first bf/gf. but i think it's really rare nowadays. it's be sort of cool and romantic though
