Yeah just reset it. Makes sure it's plugged into the computer or the charger, then hold down the menu button and the center button. Wait until the Apple logo comes up, then reconnect to the computer and it should be recognized.

Or there might be dust in the hole in your iPod, or in the USB cable/Firewire cable.

Well, I didn't know if I should make a new topic or post my problem here...so here it is. Even if my iPod has full battery, why does it always say: No power remains in iPod. Please plug to power. ermm.gif

whhaat: make sure, if you're on a PC, you have Win XP with SP2 and USB 2.0 or FireWire or Win 2000 with SP4 and USB 2.0 or FireWire or, if you're on a Mac, OS X 10.2.8, 10.3.4 or higher, USB 2.0 or FireWire. Reset the iPod, restore, you should be good to go.

jaimedevenicia, reset it, restore it, update it. Make sure the backlight is off, the EQ is off, etc.

You could restore your iPod.
But I'd go to the APPLE DISSCUSIONS for these problems
