first bra... ? Options

im going into 8th. did everyone have a bra by then??

im not sure if this topic was already made because i couldnt search. the keyword was too short....




YEAH. so anyways, i only wear camis right now, and im not sure when everyone got their bras. am i late?? im pretty sure i need one..

and im kinda afraid to ask my mom. what would i say to her? hey mom, i need some bras... i cant go get htem myself, heck im in 8th grade!! what do i say? im kind of embarassed.

You know this is gonna ound so sad, but I never wore on until middle school, and that was because a girlfriend dragged me to the mall with her mom saying if you don't buy a bra today I will kill yo. It's sadder htat now going to eight grade and I have bigger breasts than my mom and sister. Sad isn;t it? I feel like a freak.

I recieved my first bra when I was in 5th grade. I still remember what it looked like. It was white and it was extremely uncomfortable. My mother wanted me to wear it because she wanted me to get used to the feeling.

I was in 4th grade when i got my first bra. the whole family came along when i got my first one. i was mortified. my dad, both sisters, and mom came. and you know how you don't really wanna carry the bra around the store? well. i had to. no one would hold it for me. i was so embarresed. so me and my mom went to go find my bra and it was one of those nice little triangle one. really uncomfy. so we got the bra and then met back up with my dad and sisters. my dad goes "so shannon i see you got your first over the shoulder boulder holder??" i about died. so any way. then we had to go check out, and in mervyn's they didnt have any female cashiers..so only guys. i was thinkin "could this get any worse" and course it could have gone south, but it turned out all for the good. then when i wore it to school this guy in my gym class poped my bra in the front. it hurt so bad.

now when my sister got her first bra, she was excited and she didnt hide anything. she walked with that bra proudly. swang her arms and sang walking down the walk way thingy.

any way. to your delima, you might wanna get a bra. you could stick with the cami. but all the layers get hot dont they?

i got my first training bra in 5th. if you don't show that much through your shirts, don't wrorry about it. I had a friend who had big boobs and she didn't wear a bra for a long time, and it was kinda disturbing talking to her sometimes so.....yeah. Get one if you need to. I wear sports bras right now cause their more comfortable than those other ones, and you can go jogging and stuff in them and no one would say anything!

I got mine in the 6th grade. We had to change for pe so yeah. Nope, I don't think your too late. Juhs be like, "Mom, I need to buy some bras." Nothing embarrassing about that.

Ya..same with me except i'm going into 7th gr. my mom is really EMBARASSING! She won't let me go anywhere without a parent! But shes like walking into a girly store and is like OOOOOO bras u should get one! I'm so happy nobody was there! I really dont want them, they look so uncofortable!

i had to wear a trainging bra by like 3 grade. i finally got a cup bra when i was in like...6 grade [but on the low cos my mom was jealous my boobs were bigger than hers and she asbolutely refused to buy me a cup bra] im i think im 2 and a cup size bigger than my mom 0_o

yeah i got my first bra in 3rd grade.....u noe training.....and then got reall bra in 5th....
but thas kool cause erryone grows at diff rates...but i think that it is time that u get a bra...even if u arent compelty "developled" yet....jus to get used to it

I got my first padded bra in summer before 8th grade.. I'm now gunna be in 9th. Umm.. You can go shopping with your friends and buy a bra.. Or you can just tell your mom you wanna go shopping at Walmart/Target and then pick out a couple bras.

I was either in 4th or 5th grade I don't remember, but now I'm in 10th. Ask your mom if she thinks you do. lol..memories of having to go shopping with my mom.. I was afraid to ask at first but now I'm use to shopping for that kind of stuff exspecially now that I'm older and can shop for that stuff by myself. You have to think which would be more embarassing to you.. not ever wearing one in public or going in public to buy one?? In my opinion just ask your mom and If you do need one, go ahead.
