I think those bracelets are overrated. When I first got my Live Strong one...everyone was like...yeah whatever...then all of a sudden everyone wants one...everyone needs one...then other people start coming out with it...blah blah blah...it pisses me off...trends that is...

GAH, i had a kid size livestrong bracelet that didnt fit me at all and would actually fall off my wrist if i was moving my arms until build a bear came out with bear bracelets. yay, problem solved. so i have a bear size bracelet. haha, but i also have 2 AIDS bracelets. (those jelly and metal bracelets that the duff sisters support) i have a metal one and a pink one.

wow..when i got them i didnt even know what they were..i was at a concert and they just gave me 3 of them..i was about to throw it out but the next day i see everyone at my work wearing em..i was so freaked out..haha

QUOTE(mai_z @ Oct 4 2004, 4:58 PM) *
u can get them here: http://www.laf-store.org/
but while you're wearing them, please remember that they're in support of cancer research, not just a fancy fashion accessory

yeah..but i think almost everyone is wearing them to be cool..b/c alot of ppl i know were just like..omg..u know those yellow bracelets everyones wearing?? i want one of those..everybodys wearing one...its so cool. and they didnt even know what it was called/for

but in the end..theyre still getting the money they need..just the ppl buying it are caring more about being cool rather than raising money for a cause..

oh..and livestrong started a trend now...there are bootleg livestrongs..which is so wrong.. not to mention there are all these other kinds of bracelets that serve as more of a fashion statement rather than for a cause

i have a bunch of livestrong and white milk 3x a day bracelets..if anyone wants..ive been trying to get rid of them..heh

Yeah I used to love those things, but now I look at mine and go, "Eh.." you get tired of yours REAL easy...

I got mine from a website...it was something like bandthehand.com or something like that...brb I'll go check just to be sure...

www.reminderband.com is where I got mine.

They're kinda expensive though...$3 a piece. Haha I spent like $21 on those things :P Oh yeah they're tax free I believe happy.gif Oh hey, it looks like they lowered their prices!!! $1.75! Oh wait, nevermind - that's if you order 100. And I KNOW you don't want that much!

For the price options, click here!

I hope this helps!!!!

I have a couple of those that I got for free..but they don't have anything to do with cancer, they just have like virtues on them or something. But I hardly wear them. I don't see anything special about them. They're just colored rubber..
