lol dunno if there is a post on this already, don't think so, apologies if there is. Just for a laugh though, what would you normally do if someone talked on and on constantly about the same thing and you wanted them to stop?
although I would normally imagine in my head about somehow physically hurting them in order to stop them rabbling, I normally would actually look around to see if any of my friends could be my victim and place them in my spot, like "hey Roy...come over her and meet...." iheeheehehehe!!!Sweeeeeet!!! What would you do?

it depends on the person really...if it was one of my good friends, i'd just tell them. if i didn't like them very much...i'd probably tell them. otherwise, i'd make some excuse to leave.

If I'm on the phone with a person that happens a lot, somtimes they know they are doing it, and I jsut allow them to talk. ha, other times i'm just saying yeah, yeah, yeah, sure, yep, whatever. but last night when I was talking to my friend he was watching this movie and I could hear it, so I knew what the people where saying. But NO. he HAD to repeate everyword that was said it really drove me crazy and I snapped and said "Tyler, shutup!"

hah this topic reminds me of my Language Arts teacher in 7th grade .. she is so talkative that we never get on to things that we are suppose to. Whenever she talked to me too long i start to look somewhere else and just nod at watever she says.

Haha, actually, I avoid eye contact with them. I really don't find anything else to do.

I'd rather not make much moves, whether it be get up and walk somewhere.

Usually doesn't happen to me; I'm usually the one doing the talking. XD But "Dude, shut the fuck up" or "Remind me again why I care?" usually works.

it differs depending on people with me too, when my boyfriend talks about gambling statistics, his experiences and how to play in a certain method so you win, i change the subject because i don't know what the hell he's talking about and i don't want out time together to be wasted on crap we both don't enjoy.

but with other people that i don't know i nod along because i don't know what to say...like this one girl who kept telling me about the history of buddhism or something...i kept looking around half listening, i was like huh.gif . i did ask questions on what little i sort of understood so i didn't completely come off as rude.

it depends who it is. if its my annoying 5 year old brother pausing his video games every two seconds to tell me that he beat someone, then i say "yeah ok connor. i know. now play your game. PLEASE"

if its my sister coming in my room every 5 seconds to tell me a song i like is on the radio or a tv show i like is on, i say "thanks" the first time and after awhile, i go "okkkkkaaaaaaaay, i get it caroline!!!"

but if its my teacher telling me [insert lecture here], i sit there and fidget with my hands, and pretend to listen =3

I'll say:

SHUT THE HELL UP... if the person continues talking...i'll walk away..._smile.gif

EDIT// ok that was a lie mellow.gif...

I'll try to be polite, i'll just smile and avoid eye contact, definately...or if the person's hot, i'll just show them my boobs or seduce them...or probably kiss them flowers.gif...

To anyone, I'd bring it up in a joking manner.... "You've been talking quite the while, [insert name]! I think your biscuits are getting cold." Ah, yes, the humor.
