Erm.........well now there's one that u use thig kinda gel, and suprisingly u don't use a sharp razor/blade to shave the hair off! Its just this plastic thingy! U do it like normal and it comes off! I saw it on the ad. I think the brand was VEETS.

Don't want to wax it off?
If your willing to pay for it, get laser hair removal then!!!!

There maybe some other way. I heard they can remove hair electrically with an electric tweezer. I saw that on VH1. They did it on some celebrity.

Shaving:
PROS: you can do it yourself any time
CONS: once you start shaving, hair comes back nubby and potentially thicker. razor burns, shaving nicks, and other razor mishaps can also cause discomfort.

Waxing:
PROS: removes hair for up to a month or more
CONS: ripping hair out by its roots with hot wax is very painful. having it professionally done can be expensive.

Tweezing/Plucking: Pulling hair out one by one with a pair of tweezers. It hurts for a second or two.
PROS: You do it yourself.
CONS: It can hurt at the time. It's only temporary.

Depilatory: A cream or gel that you put on the area where you want hair removed. It burns, melts, and otherwise damages the hair roots. Then, you wash the stuff and the hair off.
PROS: you do it yourself and the result is a very smooth, hairless area that lasts longer than shaving.
CONS: it can burn or leave the skin area red if the skin is sensitive. It smells bad, even the stuff labeled "fresh scent".

Bleaching: Chemically lightening the color of hair. Usually used only for facial hair.
PROS: doesn't involve removing the hair, so you don't have to deal with how the hair will come back.
CONS: It is a chemical, so the skin may get irritated. It doesn't remove the hair, if there is alot of it, even if it's blonde, it may be visible. May actually make hair more visible against dark skin.

Electrolysis: Technically, it's when a qualified practitioner inserts a filament, or long thin needle, into each individual hair follicle and zaps it with an electric current. This is the only permanent, or nearly permanent, method of hair removal. It's pretty expensive, though
PROS: hair removal is eventually permanent.
CONS: each session is very expensive, the treatment is fairly painful, and you need to find a good practitioner in order for the work to be permanent and to avoid slip-ups that can cause scarring

Laser Hair Removal: Invented in 1995, laser hair removal involves waxing first to remove hair, then rubbing a carbon-based lotion on the skin, then passing a laser over the area. Follicles are damaged, but not the skin. It is said to work best for people with light skin and dark hair. It is veeery expensive.
PROS: near- permanent hair removal
CONS: thousands of dollars so you won't grow hair. an inexperienced technician may burn your skin.

I hope this helps you ^_^

shaving does not make your hair coarser/thicker/dark as stated above. The hair on your leg is different from the facial hair of a male. I mean, if you constantly cut your hair, it wouldn't go faster or anything, riite?

Try this, go without shaving for a few more days and you'll see that your hair returns to normal. When we first start shaving, it's around puberty. Somewhere I read, the hormones elevate the amount of pigments produced.

uh then why did my hair grow back thicker?

maybe its abnormal

Unfortunately, this is a VERY common held belief/myth that even some doctors believe. A lot of people associated body hair with men's facial hair which are two completely different types. The focilles are different so they have different properties. I read this online and in several magazines. Here are some sites that can explain it better than me.

You know what. Responding to the question of the topic, you can try electrolysis... or laser something treatment. It's expensive but it gets rid of the hair for like...ever.

lol i agree
