Hm..I don't do that very often, because our microwave "buzzer" is pretty loud, but my mom always does.

This happens all the time in college--often involving popcorn, and someone forgetting to turn the microwave off. Long story short, you spend a lot of time standing outside in the cold at 3 AM.

i've screwed up so many perfectly good hot pockets in situations like these :/ Also a couple times i've accidently entered an extra 0 for the time, and a couple minutes later i smell something burning :O

Haha, yeah, I've experienced that.
Actually, it was more of 1 hour than 2 hours, but it did end up smelling horrible and tasting of...... uhm... ash? I don't know how to describe it more than that. |

Nope, but I have stories where I have forgotten things on the stove. Yeah, not good. I left something on the stove to cook, left home, and when I came back...the entire house was full of smoke.

damn that sucked. so i microwaved it again. but thne i forgot about it. again. but it was only for like 10 minutes so it was still hot |

Yes, I forgot i left my lasagna in the mocrowave and my microwave is weird!! so its just kept going off at night and by the time i realized that it was in there it was so burnt and it smelled!!
