i don't kiss my parents to begin with ; my mom lives on like the other side of the world, and i just about never see my dad.

Haha, I think that's kinda sweet. My family's not as comfortable doing that. My mom and I don't kiss/hug. Yeah, she doesn't do that with my dad either.

usually it's th girls that do it more--so people don't usually care if you're a girl and kiss your parents.
but for guys--i guess it just depends on how you were raised and the degree of closeness you have between you and a parent. i don't see anything wrong with that. it's just saying goodbye or expressing love towards a parent--so no big deal to me. but lots of people think it's all funny and stuff. maybe cuz they never got the love they wanted as a kid? i dont know. just. don't worry about it. it's you. not them. |

theres nothing wrong with kissing, its just hugs are probably more preferred. i cant remember the last time i kissed my parents. a hug just seems more suitable.
